DC Itanagar Highlights Significance of Early Education at GUPS ESS Sector Visit

ITANAGAR, JULY 21, 2024 — During a visit to GUPS ESS Sector today, Deputy Commissioner of Capital Itanagar, Shri Talo Potom IAS, underscored the essential role of foundational education at primary and middle school levels. Addressing students and staff, DC Potom emphasized that a solid educational base is key to long-term academic success and personal growth.

“Foundational education is critical for developing cognitive abilities, social skills, and future learning capabilities,” Potom stated. He stressed that middle school education is especially important for reinforcing these early foundations, enhancing critical thinking, and preparing students for higher education challenges. “Focusing on quality education at these levels will better prepare students for future academic endeavors and their roles in society,” Potom added.
