Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh to Attend NITI Aayog Meeting in Delhi

Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh is scheduled to attend a crucial NITI Aayog meeting in New Delhi on Saturday, July 27. This significant meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will feature a conclave of chief ministers from various states.

Ahead of his trip to the capital, Singh stated, “My visit to Delhi is for the NITI Aayog meeting, which will be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Following this, there will be a chief ministers’ conclave where the PM will be present.”

Singh plans to leverage this platform to address the ongoing challenges in Manipur. “I am optimistic that positive outcomes will result,” he expressed.

On July 26, Singh met with Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, in New Delhi. The Chief Minister shared insights from their discussion on the social media platform X, highlighting their focus on critical infrastructure issues in Manipur.

During the meeting, Singh emphasized the urgent need to accelerate highway construction in the state and repair roads damaged by recent floods. This dialogue aims to enhance Manipur’s infrastructure resilience and support its recovery efforts.
