Man Arrested in Kharupetia for Cow Slaughter During Akika Ceremony

Kharupetia, Assam, July 28, 2024 — Assam Police have arrested Abdur Rafiq, a resident of Netaji Nagar in Kharupetia, for allegedly slaughtering a cow during his child’s Akika ceremony, which is a traditional Islamic practice.
