BJP’s Dr. Rajdeep Roy Envisions a Stronger Organizational Future for Tripura
Agartala – Dr. Rajdeep Roy, the BJP in-charge for Tripura, has forecast a robust future for the party in the state, attributing its anticipated growth to the successful execution of various development initiatives by the current administration.
Speaking at a press conference on August 6 at the BJP office, Roy expressed confidence in the party’s strengthening organizational presence, stating, “The current government has effectively met the expectations of Tripura’s people. The Bharatiya Janata Party will see significant organizational growth in the state in the near future.”
Roy, accompanied by state BJP president Rajib Bhattacharya and other party officials, also visited the Mata Tripurasundari Temple in Udaipur as part of their organizational activities, starting their day with prayers.
Roy highlighted the party’s accomplishments, noting, “The BJP has governed Tripura twice and has been in power at the national level since 2014. Historically, Tripura faced neglect due to political dynamics, which shifted with the formation of the BJP government in 2018.”
He underscored several developmental strides made under the BJP-led administration, including government housing under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and improvements in drinking water accessibility through the Jal Jeevan Mission. “Eighty-three percent of households now have access to drinking water, and village roads have been constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana. Infrastructure has seen marked progress, and rail services have improved,” Roy said.
Roy also expressed optimism about future developments, stating, “I am hopeful that the state government will continue to meet the people’s expectations.”
In addition to his remarks, Roy announced plans to engage with party workers at the booth level and discuss with Delhi leaders the potential establishment of an AIIMS-style hospital in Tripura.
