Sushanta Biswa Sarma Appointed Vice President of Assam Olympic Association for 2024-2028
Sushanta Biswa Sarma, a distinguished senior officer of the Assam Police and former Ranji Trophy cricketer, has been elected as the Vice President of the Assam Olympic Association (AOA) for the upcoming 2024-2028 term. Currently serving as the Superintendent of Police in Barpeta, Sarma’s election reflects his long-standing commitment to promoting sports and enhancing athletic development within the state.
Sarma’s extensive experience in sports administration includes his previous role as President of the Assam Volleyball Association, positioning him to effectively lead strategic initiatives within the AOA.
