Two Bangladeshi Women Arrested at Agartala Railway Station for Illegal Entry
In a significant law enforcement operation, authorities apprehended two Bangladeshi women at Agartala railway station in Tripura for illegally entering India without proper documentation. The individuals, identified as 20-year-old Rabbana Akter and 22-year-old Asma Khatun, were detained while allegedly planning to board a train to another state.
The arrests took place as part of a coordinated effort by the Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF), Border Security Force (BSF), and various intelligence agencies. The operation highlights ongoing efforts to maintain border security and prevent illegal crossings.
Following their arrest, a case was registered at the Agartala GRP Police Station. The two women are expected to be presented in court on Friday, where further legal proceedings will commence.
