Alliance Air Launches New Flights Between Tezu and Guwahati to Boost Connectivity in Arunachal Pradesh

Tezu, Arunachal Pradesh – Alliance Air has officially launched new flight services connecting Tezu, Arunachal Pradesh, to Guwahati, Assam, with operations set for four days a week. This initiative is part of a broader effort to improve regional connectivity and stimulate economic growth in the northeastern states.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu hailed the introduction of these flights, emphasizing its potential to bridge existing connectivity gaps in the region. “This development promises to foster economic growth, boost tourism, and create new business opportunities,” Khandu stated.

The flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, providing residents and visitors with more accessible travel options. Furthermore, Rupsi Airport has also resumed operations, facilitating connections between Guwahati and Kolkata three days a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

These services are being managed under the UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik) scheme, aimed at enhancing air travel accessibility to underserved regions. Alliance Air plans to increase the frequency of flights from Tezu to five days a week later this month, further improving connectivity for the local population.

The introduction of these flights is expected to significantly enhance accessibility to Arunachal Pradesh and its neighboring areas, making travel more convenient for residents and tourists alike.
