Woman and Two Accomplices Arrested for Alleged Murder of Ex-Husband in Assam

A woman and two accomplices have been arrested in connection with the murder of her former husband in Jonai, located in Assam’s Dhemaji district. The suspects, identified as Banita Tao, along with Amar Tao and Ashok Tao, are facing serious charges following the suspicious death of the victim, Bhuban Konwar.

Authorities discovered Konwar’s body under circumstances that raised alarms, prompting an investigation into the case. Preliminary findings suggest that the suspects attempted to stage the scene to resemble a suicide, aiming to mislead law enforcement.
