Assam CM Predicts Landslide Victory for NDA Candidate Nirmal Kumar Brahma
At an election rally in Chirang’s Bengtal playground on Wednesday, November 6, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed confidence in a decisive win for NDA candidate Nirmal Kumar Brahma in the upcoming Sidli by-election.
Sarma told a large crowd, “The NDA candidate will win by a large margin. Of the five constituencies where I campaigned, three have already been secured for our victory.” He expressed optimism for the remaining two constituencies, assuring the crowd that victory was assured in those as well.
The rally saw strong support from regional political leaders, including BTR Chief Executive Member Pramod Boro, Cabinet Ministers Nandita Garlosa and Jagen Mahan, along with MPs Jayanta Basumatary and Rwngwra Narzary. Key MLAs such as Lawrence Islary, Urkao Gwra Brahma, and Jiran Basumatary also backed Brahma’s candidacy, reinforcing the unity of the coalition in the lead-up to the by-election.
