Two Arrested for Brutally Assaulting Minor Boy in Guwahati

Two individuals have been arrested by Bhagaduttapur police in Guwahati for assaulting a minor boy over a petty crime on Monday. The assault was captured in a disturbing video that showed the boy being struck multiple times, including in his eyes with a key.

The incident took place in the Jatiya locality and involved two to three assailants who repeatedly beat the victim while he was on the ground. Following the incident, the local police intervened after being alerted, rescuing the boy and providing immediate medical assistance.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Himangshu Baishya and Jayanta Talukdar. They were taken into custody after police conducted interrogations.
