Prime Accused in Assam’s Dinjan Boat Tragedy Makes Shocking Confessions

Amrish Mipun, the prime accused in the Dinjan boat accident in Assam’s Chabua, made startling revelations after surrendering to the police on Wednesday.

Confessions Reveal Motive
Mipun admitted to a personal dispute with Manoj Payaria, the local hero who tragically went missing after the boat incident. According to sources, Mipun confessed to preventing Payaria from boarding the boat and later kicking him into the Dibru River during the chaos.

Background of the Incident
The tragedy occurred on November 18 when a boat traveling from Guijan to Dodhia capsized in the Dibru River. The four passengers on board survived, thanks to the selfless efforts of Payaria, who jumped into the river to save them. However, Payaria mysteriously disappeared after the rescue, with eyewitnesses claiming he was denied access to the boat he had just helped save.

Accused Surrenders
Following a police raid in Dodhia that failed to capture him, Mipun surrendered at Jonai police station in Dhemaji district earlier today. He was later handed over to Tinsukia police for further investigation.

Eyewitnesses Laud Payaria’s Bravery
Payaria’s courageous actions have been widely praised, with locals demanding justice for the tragic turn of events. His disappearance and Mipun’s alleged actions have cast a shadow over the accident, raising questions about what transpired in the moments after the boat capsized.

The police continue their investigation as the community awaits justice for Manoj Payaria’s heroic sacrifice.
