Mizoram Youth Delegates Set to Represent State at Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025

A team of young leaders from Mizoram has been flagged off to participate in the prestigious Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025, scheduled to be held on January 11 and 12 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event will witness the participation of youth from across the country, presenting innovative ideas before subject matter experts and central government officials.

Ahead of their departure, the delegation met Sports and Youth Services Minister Pu Lalnghinglova Hmar at his office chamber at MINECO. The Minister encouraged the participants to approach the opportunity with confidence and a spirit of excellence. “The opportunity to represent the state is rare and valuable. I urge you all to prepare thoroughly and make Mizoram proud,” he said. The official flag-off ceremony took place at the SYS Office, with SYS Secretary Pu Lalramsanga Sailo sending off the team.

The 12-member delegation, selected through a rigorous multi-stage competition involving online quizzes, essays, and PowerPoint presentations, is divided into four teams. Each team will address a distinct topic critical to India’s development, including “Tech for Viksit Bharat,” “Enhancing Productivity in Agriculture,” “Empowering Youth for Viksit Bharat,” and “Empowering Women and Improving Social Indicators.”

The Mizoram team is guided by two experienced academic mentors: Dr. Rosaline Varsangzuali and Dr. H. Lalzuithangi, both Associate Professors at Government Hrangbana College. Their expertise is expected to provide a strong foundation for the participants as they showcase their ideas on a national platform.

The dialogue aims to empower young minds to contribute to India’s vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047, providing a platform for innovative solutions and collaborative thinking. With their dedication and preparation, the Mizoram team is set to make a meaningful impact at the event.
