Kamrup police’s anti-drug operation successful, drugs worth Rs 4 crore including trucks seized

Kamrup police have achieved huge success against drugs amid ongoing anti-drug operations across the state.

A large quantity of drugs were seized under the leadership of Kamrup district superintendent of police Hitesh Chandra Rai in The City’s Barnihat. Three drug traffickers along with drugs were arrested in a raid conducted by a large police team including city police joint commissioner Partha Sarathi Mahanta and deputy superintendent of police Kalyan Pathak on the basis of a secret report. Kamrup police mentioned that the drug mafia gang from Manipur had supplied large quantities of drugs.
