Son loses life on father’s death date: Sanskrit scholar Vipul Sharma killed on his way back as a marriage priest
A vehicle carrying seven passengers including the wedding priest met with a fatal accident at Dhekial tinali around 5.30am on Monday when he returned to golaghat’s prison after getting married and returning with his groom to the gang.

The accident killed popular priest vipul sharma, a popular eight-player resident of Golaghat and father of a 12-year-old child, as well as photographer Mahanand Kalita on the spot. On the other hand, someone was seriously injured. They have been sent to Guwahati for better treatment with the help of police after being rescued by the local people. Meanwhile, the funeral was performed at the end of the autopsy at eight games of Vipul Sharma but mahanandkalita’s body was sent to his home.
It needs to be mentioned that Vipul Kumar Sharma (Shastri) was working as a teacher in a school in Ghiladhari without pay while staying in the new amolapatti in Golaghat. Yesterday was his father’s annual day of reverence. He left for Zanji with baryatri as a wedding priest in the evening after completing his father’s annual rituals during the day.
But unfortunately, on the way back, the entire golaghat is in mourning as a disaster has descended on the lives of his wife and little one after the sabarhi Brahmin lost his life in a sudden accident. The Brahmin community as well as other organizations in Golaghat district have expressed deep grief over the death of the highly amiable and Sanskrit scholar Sabarhi Brahmin.
