Meanwhile, the Health Minister also informed that the hospital will start diagnosis in two shift from today to overcome various difficulties faced in the diagnosis of patients coming to GMCH. Minister Keshav Mahanta said that MRIs, CT scans, X-rays of patients from different parts of the state as well as patients undergoing treatment here, There were some difficulties in ultrasonography in the past. Diagnosis will be carried out in two parts of the morning and evening from today to overcome such difficulties.
Accordingly, mri of the patient from 8 am to 2 pm and from 3 pm to 10 pm, CT scans, X-rays etc. In parallel, the health of opd patients will be checked in the night. The patients coming from outside will be tested in the morning and the patients in the hospital will be tested in the evening. In addition, two shifts have been made from now on in the field of surgery. That is, surgery will continue in the late night.
The Health Minister also mentioned that arrangements have been made to complete various examinations of one patient within 5 days i.e. MRI of a patient, These tests will be completed within 5 days if various tests including X-ray, ultrasonography etc. Similarly, the number of blood tests has also been increased from now on. In today’s press conference, the Health Minister informed that the work on the second Super Speciality Hospital at GMCH will be completed in February.
The second Super Speciality Hospital will have two mainly cardiology and neurology departments after the first super speciality hospital which has already been completed. In parallel, cardio surgery and neurosis will be available. ‘Surgery’ will also be at this super speciality hospital. Patients can register for health check-ups and admissions online in this hospital. Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma will also officially open the hospital in the first week of February.
