Tiger attack on Paddy field: Two injured

Leopard attack on paddy field Two persons were seriously injured in the tiger attack that took place today in Kawaimari, a marginal area of Naharkatiya Assembly constituency. The two men, Lalit Dhadumya and Jayant Gogoi, who were seriously injured in a tiger attack while carrying paddy from the field, were shown at a local hospital but were sent to Assam Medical College Hospital in Dibrugarh for better treatment. Local people said leopards have been taking shelter in the fields of Diyanusari Kawaimari for several days but the forest department has not considered the safety of the people today.
