Heavy rain in Odisha due to storm Jawad
Rain has been prevailing in coastal areas of Odisha since this morning due to the impact of cyclonic storm Jawad. Torrential rains have caused thunderstorms in different parts of the state though marine storm Jawad has become increasingly weak. However, in the wake of this, rain has started in several states including Orissa. It is worth mentioning that gopalpur from Bay of Bengal, Jawad has brought torrential rains to various areas like Puri, Paradip etc. However, there has been no trend in the coastal areas of West Bengal till the news spread. But as per the meteorological department’ report Heavy rain will be seen in different districts of West Bengal tomorrow. Meanwhile, tourists have arrived on the coast of the state since morning after the Meteorological Department today revealed that the storm does not create any kind of storm on the coast of Andhra Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has reported that storm Jawad has gradually weakened in the wake of the Bay of Bengal.
