Nine persons including young women involved in women’s body trade arrested in Dhaba of Nagaon Barghat bypass
Nagaon police raided a dhaba on Barghat bypass connecting 37th and 36th on Sunday and managed to arrest nine persons including women and girls involved in the business of women bodies. Police were able to achieve this feat by conducting a tip-off operation at Juisal Dhaba in Nagaon Bypass. Nagaon police managed to arrest the nine persons during the operation which was carried out around 4pm on Sunday.
The people involved in the woman body business arrested by the police are Somaya Jasmine (18), Jasmine Begum (24), Abdul Rashid (32) of Sealmari under Nagaon Sadar police station. Meena Begum (14), Boloram Das (28), Rupjyoti Das (28), Dweepjyoti Das (30), Vijay Das (14), and Jasmine Begum (32) of the field run by Batdrava Kadamni.
It is mentioned that most of the dhabas of Barghat bypass have been doing anti-social activities for a long time. The unusual gathering of people including school college students has been worrying the conscious quarters. On various occasions, conscious people had been demanding that the police take action against such anti-social activities going on in Barghat bypass and on this demand, a police team led by Additional Superintendent of Police, Nagaon Police Dhruv Bara raided yesterday and arrested nine women including Fire Dhaba owner Boloram Das for their involvement in the body business.
