Assam: Several Students On Way To Take HSLC Exam Injured In Mishap In Dhubri.
Guwahati: In a tragic incident, several school students was injured in a head-on collision in Dhubri district of Assam on Thursday morning.
The incident took place at Indira Gandhi road of the district.
As per reports, the accident occurred between an e-rickshaw and a speeding vehicle with the bearing registration number ‘AS 01E 4732’ were the student were travelling to appear for their High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) board examinations.
However the driver of the e-rickshaw have also sustained serious injuries in the incident.
As per the eyewitness the impact was so major that the e-rickshaw lost control and over turned, as a result the students were flung off from their seats.
Following the incident, all the injured were immediately shifted to Dhubri Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) for medical attention.
Upon receiving information, police officials reached the spot and took stock of the situation.
It needs to be mentioned the vehicle that was involved in the mishap has also been seized by the police officials.
Moreover, the rescheduled General Science exam of the HSLC class 10 board examinations was held today.
The exam had to be rescheduled because of the controversy surrounding the question paper leak incidents. A section of the candidates allegedly had access to the General Science (C3) subject’s question paper before the exam because it had reportedly been leaked.
