Assam: 2 Criminals Escape From Police Custody in Nalbari

Guwahati: Two criminals involved in several cases escaped from police custody in Assam’s Nalbari on Sunday.

As per reports, the duo escaped from the police custody while being taken for their medical examination.

Reportedly, the duo escaped from the the clutches of Nalbari Police with handcuffs.

The two criminals were accused of theft and smuggling drugs.

One of the absconding criminals has been identified as Ritul Ali.

Meanwhile, one of the fugitive culprits is said to have been apprehended by the police. However, the other is on the run.

A search operation has been started by the police to nab the other accused.
