Coal Mine Worker From Assam Found Dead in Meghalaya mine

Guwahati: In a tragic incident, a youth hailing from Assam was found dead under mysterious circumstances at a coal mine in Meghalaya.

The deceased identified as Ibrahim Ali, a resident of Kaki in Lanka in the Hojai district of Assam.

As per information received, Ibrahim was employed as a labourer at a coal mine in the neighbouring state of Meghalaya.

According to reports, he died after falling from 100 feet while working at the coal mine.

However, there were no signs of injuries on his body, except a slash on his neck, purportedly from a sharp weapon, raising further suspicions.

Meanwhile, the victim’s family filed a report about the incident at the Kaki Police Station in Lanka.

It should be mentioned that police officials have assured a thorough investigation will be conducted into Ibrahim Ali’s death.
