Two Injured in Head-On Collision Between 2 Vehicles in Guwahati

Guwahati: As many as two persons were injured in a head-on collision in Athgaon of Guwahati on Sunday night.

The incident occurred in Athgaon flyover.

According to reports, the collision took place between a Swift Dzire car and an auto-rickshaw.

In the major road accident, the driver of both the vehicles were critically injured.

Upon receiving information, the Athgaon Police immediately reached the spot.

It has come to light that the Swift Dzire’s driver was under the influence of alcohol when he slammed into the auto-rickshaw in a high speed.

The injured drivers were taken to a nearby hospital by the police as soon as they arrived on the scene for prompt medical assistance.
