Amlan Borgohain & Hima Das from Assam win gold At 3rd Indian Grand Prix

Guwahati: Amlan Borgohain and Hima Das, two sprinters from Assam, have once more brought honour to the state via their outstanding athletic accomplishments.

Amlan Borgohain won two gold medals in the men’s 100- and 200-meter races at the third Indian Grand Prix, which was held at Bengaluru’s Sree Kanteerava Stadium.

He won both competitions with times of 10.50 seconds for the 100-meter dash and 21.22 seconds for the 200-meter run. Amlan made the nation proud with his great achievement by showcasing extraordinary talent and perseverance.

Sprinter Hima Das won the gold medal in the women’s 200-meter race at the same competition. She completed the race in 23.77 seconds, leaving her rivals in the dust.

The 21-year-old athlete from Assam, who is known as the ‘Dhing Express’ has been in fantastic shape recently and has been steadily lowering her times. Her most recent success is evidence of her commitment to the sport and her hard work.
