Assam: 10 Business Establishments Set Ablaze In Morigaon

Guwahati: As many as 10 business establishments were entirely gutted in a massive fire that broke out in Morigaon of Assam on Thursday night.

The massive fire broke out at a daily market in Laharighat of the district.

The incident occurred at around 12.30 am last night.

The fire completely destroyed 10 business establishments.

Upon receiving information, as many as four fire tenders immediately rushed to the spot.

Later, the fire tenders were able to bring the flames under control after prolonged struggle.

It needs to be mentioned that properties worth about Rs 20 lakhs were gutted in the devasted fire.

Moreover, the actual cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
