Guwahati: Criminals break into a journalist’s residence & set bike ablaze

Guwahati: Miscreants broke into the residence of journalist Geetashree Talukdar in an incident that occurred in Guwahati’s Shantipur Professor Colony and set a bike on fire.

A short while afterwards, several bottles were thrown at her house, damaging her property.

Reports claim that Geetashree Talukdar and her family were at home when the incident happened at night.

The unidentified miscreants broke into her residence and set fire to her bike that was parked outside.

After that, they started throwing bottles at her house, which further damaged it.

Geetashree Talukdar immediately filed a First Information Report (FIR) about the incident at the Bharalu police station. The police have opened an inquiry into the incident and are trying to identify the culprits.
