Most Wanted Criminal ‘Kenaram Boro’ from Sadiya Finally Nabbed By Assam Police
The Barpeta Police successfully apprehended infamous dacoit Kenaram Boro on Monday in a well-run operation in Assam’s Sadiya, marking a huge victory.
Kenaram was charged with the bold heist that took place at the State Bank of India (SBI) Customer Service Centre on Barpeta Road despite months of avoiding authorities. The event, which happened on Wednesday, resulted in the theft of a sizeable amount of cash after the criminals started shooting.
According to reports, on May 31, Kenaram and his accomplice tried to rob the State Bank of India Customer Care Service Centre in Barpeta’s Shakti Nagar by breaking into the building.
When Kenaram and his companion went inside the SBI customer care centre to withdraw money, they started shooting.
While Kenaram departed the scene, the townspeople attacked the criminals and captured one. Fazal Ali was the other criminal who was critically hurt during the incident.
According to reports, Shah Alam and a friend were closing the centre when the two accused tried to steal about Rs 3 lakh.
Soon after the conspirator was taken into custody, Kenaram started firing and fled on a Pulsar bike.
It should be noted that there were earlier allegations of Kenaram’s purported encounter-related passing in Udalguri a few months ago.
