Manipur Chief Minister Condemns Attack on CRPF Personnel, Vows Justice

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh condemned the recent attack on Indian security forces that resulted in the tragic loss of two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel in the Naransena region of Bishnupur district. Describing the assault as an act of cowardice, Singh expressed solidarity with the committed security personnel and assured that their sacrifice would not be forgotten.

The attack, perpetrated by suspected Kuki militants, unfolded during the late hours of April 27, with armed groups firing towards a village in the Naransena area. The ensuing explosion inside the CRPF outpost led to casualties among the personnel, with two succumbing to their injuries.

Singh took to social media to denounce the assault, emphasizing the dedication of security forces in upholding peace and stability in the state. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring justice for the fallen personnel and their families.
