Notorious Dacoit Injured in Police Encounter in Bokakhat; Two Accomplices Apprehended
Early this morning in Agratali, Bokakhat, a dramatic police encounter resulted in the injury of notorious dacoit Pallav Basumatary, while his accomplices Babu Saikia and Gautam Dal were apprehended. Basumatary, a member of a three-man gang involved in multiple robberies, sustained injuries from police gunfire and is currently undergoing treatment at the Bokakhat sub-divisional hospital.
