Tripura CM Manik Saha Predicts BJP Sweep in Panchayat Elections
Agartala, July 18, 2024 — Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has voiced strong confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) prospects for the upcoming Panchayat elections, asserting that the party’s candidates will secure all seats due to the trust and support of the people.
Leading two major rallies for BJP candidates, CM Saha was active in both Agartala, West District, and Udaipur, Gomati District. In Agartala, he participated in a rally for West Tripura Zila Parishad candidates. Following this, he performed a puja at Tripurasundari Temple before spearheading a nomination filing rally in Udaipur.
CM Saha was joined by fellow BJP leaders, ministers, legislators, and officials in both locations, where large crowds turned out to support the party’s candidates.
“Today is the last day to submit nomination papers. BJP nominees are filing their nomination papers today to contest in the Gram Panchayat, Panchayat Samitis, and Zilla Parishad elections across the state. I was present at the submission of nomination papers of party candidates in Agartala and in Udaipur. A large number of people gathered in support of our candidates. Our leaders, ministers, legislators, and officials participated in Udaipur. We have the blessings of the people, and with these blessings, we will win the election,” Saha stated.
The Chief Minister’s optimism highlights the party’s strategy and grassroots support as they prepare for the critical local elections.
