Meghalaya Cricket Association Unveils Squad for BCCI Senior Women’s T20 Trophy Training Camp

Shillong, Meghalaya – The Meghalaya Cricket Association (MCA) has announced the squad of 25 players selected for the preparatory camp ahead of the BCCI Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2024-25. The camp, starting September 23, will be held at the MCA Ground in Polo, Shillong.

The players were chosen based on their performances during the Senior and U-23 Women’s trials held earlier this year in Jagiroad, Assam. All participants are required to report to Shillong by September 22, with the initial training session scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on September 23.

The squad includes prominent cricketers such as Riticia Nongbet, Luiza Tamang, Debasmita Dutta, and Suruti Kumari Ray, blending experienced players with emerging talent. The camp will be led by Head Coach Deepali C Patkar, with assistance from Coach Mackie D Blah, Physio Wandashisha Dkhar, and Trainer Darishesha Mawroh.

The preparatory camp is a critical step in the MCA’s strategy to prepare for a competitive season in the BCCI Senior Women’s T20 Trophy, as the team aims to deliver strong performances and make a significant impact in the tournament.
