Tragic Domestic Dispute Turns Deadly in Cachar’s Bhaga Bazaar
Cachar – In a heartbreaking incident in Bhaga Bazaar, located in Assam’s Dholai constituency, a domestic quarrel took a fatal turn as Ismail Hussain allegedly murdered his wife, Falana Khatun, during an argument over household expenses.
The couple, originally from Barpeta district, had been working as laborers at an Indian brick kiln in Bhaga Bazaar. Following their weekly payment on Saturday, Falana reportedly suggested purchasing a cooking gas cylinder, which Ismail opposed, leading to a heated exchange.
As tempers flared, Ismail reportedly struck his wife with a brick mold, killing her instantly. Police arrived promptly, recovering Falana’s body and detaining Ismail Hussain on charges of murder.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, underscoring the dangers of unresolved domestic tensions. Police are continuing their investigation into the case.
